Imagine Dragons makes Spotify history as ‘Bad Liar’ becomes their tenth song to surpass one billion streams on the platform — making them the group with the most billion-plus streamed songs.

Imagine Dragons has achieved a new record on Spotify, as their track “Bad Liar” becomes their tenth song to surpass one billion streams. The band has made Spotify history with the most billion-plus streamed songs on the platform, the first to have ten songs reach this milestone.

“Bad Liar” joins Spotify’s coveted Billions Club playlist alongside some of the band’s biggest hits, including “Believer” and “Thunder,” each of which have accrued over two billion streams on the platform. Imagine Dragons’ other songs on the list include “Demons,” “Bones,” and “Radioactive.”

Since their 2009 debut, Imagine Dragons has scored five consecutive Top 10 albums on the Billboard Top 200, with 2012’s Night Visions, 2015’s Smoke + Mirrors, 2017’s Evolve, 2018’s Origins, and 2021’s Mercury – Act 1. The release of Mercury – Act 2 in 2022, the band completed their first double-album opus produced by Rick Rubin. That album’s hit single, “Bones,” recently went to No. 1 on Alternative Radio and remains in the Global Top 50 on Spotify.

Their collaboration with rapper J.I.D, “Enemy,” landed at No. 6 on the IFPI Global Singles Chart for 2022, having racked up billions of global streams. Meanwhile, the band continues to dominate radio, as one of only four bands to achieve simultaneous Top 5 singles on Alternative Radio, and the only band to repeat that feat.

Imagine Dragons’ music videos for their hits “Thunder” and “Believer” have garnered two billion YouTube views, while videos for “Radioactive” and “Demons” have surpassed over one billion views. The band has collaborated with artists like Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, the late Avicii, and legendary film composer Hans Zimmer.

Among the many charity causes for which Imagine Dragons have raised millions throughout their career include their pediatric cancer charity, The Tyler Robinson Foundation, and frontman Dan Reynolds’ LOVELOUD Foundation and festival to support LGBTQ+ youth.
